Jeevan Jyothi Public School
Children of mostly illiterate but optimistic parents attend the Jeevan Jyothi Public School. It is a no-nonsense school, basing English as its teaching medium with mental and social discipline at the core of the curriculum.
Tuition rates of $35 per year to cover costs are affordable only to about 80% of the Pre-K through Tenth Standard enrollment of almost 500 students. Scholarships are given to one-fifth of the students from generous members of the school’s board of directors and organizations like Teachers for Tomorrow.
Education is the key to a better future for the youngsters of Jeevan Jyothi, and through the guidance and education provided by the school there are many very needy girls and boys who are headed on the path to success. Teachers for Tomorrow and the parents of these children are asking you to provide a scholarship for one — or more than one — student to help make their dreams come true.
A contribution of $50.00 will provide the $35.00 necessary for a year’s tuition plus it will give Teachers for Tomorow $15.00 toward the cost of sending a certified American teacher to work at the Jeevan Joythi School.
